He was the one who made the Louisiana Purchase,and invented many everyday things such as, the folding campstool, the folding ladder, the music stand, the portable writing desk, the revovling chair, the cipher wheel for cryptograpghy, moldboard plow, the hemp-beaker for threshing machines, and the improved carding machine.
